Legria was born thanks to the restless spirit of our founder Ignacio Del Río, who looked for a way to have a second home to enjoy with his family. During the pandemic, taking advantage of the flexibility at work and remote school, he had the opportunity to explore other destinations. There he discovered the quality of life that a second home can give you, but the investment cost seemed very inefficient considering the little use he would get from it, in addition to the work involved in its maintenance.
On the other hand, leasing was a good option for once a year, but becomes expensive for a recurring practice. He then thought about buying a second home with friends and family: a well-known way to spread the investment and expenses. However, previous experiences ended up being a problem due to conflicts in decisions, maintenance responsibilities, differences in time distribution, and the impossibility of exiting the investment if the entire property was not sold.
It was in this context that Legria emerged, a solution that allows the efficiency of distributing investment and expenses, as if buying with friends, but with a program that establishes clear rules. Legria takes care of all aspects and offers an app that allows flexible management and a platform that allows exiting the investment individually. This innovative way of having a second home attracted major Venture Capital funds, which supported the operation and allowed it to be financed.

More about
Pucón
Pucón, located in Chile’s Lake District, is a vibrant adventure town framed by Lake Villarrica and the smoking cone of Villarrica Volcano. It’s the country’s capital for outdoor recreation — think kayaking, white-water rafting, hiking, and skiing. The town also boasts natural hot springs, Mapuche cultural centers, and boutique eco-lodges. Its alpine-meets-volcanic setting creates a spectacular backdrop for both adrenaline and relaxation.
Despite its small size, Pucón has a cosmopolitan feel thanks to its tourism infrastructure, international cuisine, and bilingual services. It’s especially appealing for second-home buyers seeking a mix of action and nature. Whether soaking in a hot spring under the stars or trekking up a volcano, life in Pucón feels adventurous and grounded all at once.
