The vaults in the large Salon have been listed by the cultural ministry as one of the best examples of a 15th century vault. They are truly incredible.
 
The restoration of this space has been meticulously planned and executed, the brick work of the walls and vaults have been carefully cleaned, re-pointed and the result is the creation of a unique, and beautifully balanced living space. With excellent modern amenities complimenting the historic aspects of this home you have the best of all worlds. 
 
The apartment offers underfloor heating throughout, making it ideal for both winter and summer stays. Airconditioning is installed to ensure the perfect temperature in the hot summer months. Situated along a quiet cobbled street the home has open south facing views, across the rolling hills to the sea and Sibillini mountains. A small outside seating area has been created to provide space for your early morning coffee and alfresco dining.

Only 2 minutes from the main piazza of Petritoli, there is ample parking within a few minutes’ walk. There are an amazing array of historic buildings and piazza to be found when exploring Petritoli. Four churches, a restored Civic Tower (with viewing terrace), a small theatre and the ‘Tre Archi’ - Three Arches, anchored by 15th century turrets, dramatically form the entrance to the village, a welcome sight on arrival.
 
The three bars in the village offer different experiences, from the hustle and bustle of Bar Gelateria Tre Archi, home to amazing artisan home-made ice cream, and the perfect aperitivo, to the lovely garden at the front of Fanny’s Bar, where you can while away the long summer evenings. Bottega Vitali has recently opened and offers not only a place for your morning coffee and evening aperitivo but home-made cakes and delicacies.
 
Choice for dinner is excellent, with four highly regarded restaurants (Ristorante Re Squarchio, Enoteca Antisociale, Osteria della Cornacchia and Ristorante Roma, all within easy walking distance of the apartment. The quality of the Petritoli restaurants is remarkable for such a small community but not surprising when you consider that Italians love their food.
