Casana sells co-ownership of luxury vacation homes in iconic destinations. Buyers acquire a quarter or half share of a residence, with real property rights and legal clarity, without carrying the full cost and workload of owning a second home alone.
Casana takes care of maintenance, housekeeping and getting the home ready before every arrival, so owners can focus on enjoying it. The company is based in Monterrey, Mexico, has a showroom in Punta Mita, and serves owners from the Americas, Europe and beyond, in English and Spanish.
It is aimed at buyers who want low-hassle ownership in more than one place, prefer using a home to managing it, and want to pay in proportion to how much they use it, as an alternative to both full ownership and hotels.
Quarter and half shares: Each residence is sold in ¼ or ½ shares, giving each owner a real ownership stake in the property.
Flexible calendar: Owners get 30 nights that can be booked with long notice, plus unlimited short-notice stays, and a rotating draft is used to share peak weeks fairly.
Owner app: Stays, ownership details, usage history and documents are managed in the Casana app, which also shows the shared calendar and the draft rotation.
Full service: Casana handles maintenance, housekeeping and preparation of the home before each arrival, and offers advisory support with finance and legal partners.
Exit options: From month 12, owners can use a structured repurchase option, or sell their share on their own terms.
Mexico: Punta Mita, Riviera Nayarit (Litibú)
